Training in People Analytics with Power BI Applied to Remote Work Environments


About this Course

People Analytics is a methodology that supports and demonstrates decision-making in talent management within organizations. It requires mastery of different tools for designing visualization documents with metrics that facilitate the analysis of the present and past, in order to decide the future based on the goals and challenges organizations set for themselves.

This academic program enables Human Resources professionals to acquire key knowledge on the subject and develop the skills needed to design a People Analytics project within their organizations, using a competency-based management approach and Microsoft Power BI as the main tool.

Throughout the program, participants will develop different dashboards linked to the main HR processes, with KPIs that allow them to visualize data and ensure assertive decision-making aligned with organizational objectives—especially in remote work environments.

We will design dashboards related to core people management processes such as Headcount Reporting, Talent Acquisition, and Competency-Based Management.

This program is designed for professionals with experience in Human Talent Management or advanced students in related fields who want to enhance and deepen their skills and knowledge in data analysis for decision-making.

Course Modules

Module 1: Introduction to People Analytics

  • Definition and relevance: why People Analytics matters in human talent management.
  • HR data management with Power BI: how Power BI transforms data analysis in HR.

Module 2: Power BI Fundamentals

  • Interface and data transformation in Power BI: navigating the Power BI interface and its main components.
  • Data visualization with Power BI: creating dashboards to report on Headcount.

Module 3: Data Analysis in Human Resources

  • Payroll evolution dashboard: key People Analytics metrics such as turnover, satisfaction, performance, and diversity.
  • Creating custom calculations and measures using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

Module 4: Data Visualization in Human Resources

  • Talent Analytics: developing dashboards with indicators and visualizations of recruitment and selection processes.
  • Competency development evaluation: dashboards to visualize processes related to Competency Development Management.

Module 5: Implementing People Analytics Projects

  • People Analytics project development: building a project based on the organization’s strategic objectives.
